Dave Stewart joins True North Solutions as Fort St. John Field Automation Manager

Calgary, Alberta — True North Solutions is proud to announce that Dave Stewart has accepted the position of Field Automation Manager for our organization.

Dave has more than 25 years of industry experience and specializes in design, installation, and repair of communication and instrumentation systems, including wireless and voice communication systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), distributed control systems (DCS), and voice-over Internet protocol (IP) units. For the last 15+ years, Dave has served in roles that allowed him to perform dual functions that involved personnel and business activities, while also performing client-facing technical work.

A life-long Fort St. John resident, Dave will serve as True North’s Field Automation Manager, responsible for providing local operational technology (OT) and digital infrastructure solutions to our clients in the Peace River region. Dave will work to expand True North’s Fort St. John presence, ensuring dedicated, local support for clients with assets in this region.

In this new role, Dave will be responsible for managing True North’s Field Automation team in support of our Peace River region clients, developing strategies that align True North’s services with our clients’ requirements, supporting business planning activities, and mentoring and growing our presence in the community of Fort St. John.
