True North Solutions receives Best Workplace™ in Canada designation for the 7th time
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Calgary, Alberta — True North Solutions is thrilled to share that we have received our Best Workplaces™ in Canada award this week, receiving a ranking of 42. This recognition marks the seventh Best Workplace award that True North has received in the past seven years.
When True North Solutions launched 15 years ago, it was with the goal of building a company on three pillars: Vision, Talent, and Technology. This foundation meant the company would need to attract and retain good people and provide a great place work. True North’s repeated recognition as a Best Workplace™ shows that employees feel they work for a company with a clear sense of purpose; one that knows that engaged, happy employees are essential for company success.
“At True North, we’ve worked hard to build an extraordinary team and a positive workplace culture. Our True Values anchor our organization’s culture and are truly representative of the caliber of people we hire,” said True North President, Blair Hanel. “I’m grateful for our employees, and I’m proud of this award, because it demonstrates that our staff feel valued and engaged, which translates into excellent customer service.”
The 2020 Best Workplaces™ in Canada list is compiled by the Great Place to Work® Institute. The competition process for the Best Workplaces™ in Canada award is employee driven, based on two criteria: two-thirds of the total score comes from confidential employee survey results and the remaining one-third from an in-depth review of the organization’s culture. This provides a clear employee perspective, and an overall portrait of the workplace culture. Together, they provide crucial data relative to five trust-building dimensions: credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. This list, and related stories, will appear in a Special National Report on April 16, 2021 in The Globe and Mail.
